Yeah right! Yes, Sir! Like anyone is really going to buy that one? Here’s the e-mail in full. Like always, don’t fall for garbage like this one!

Attn: Sir|Madam

I hope this e-mail message meet you well? I am in need of your assistance.
My name is Lt. Col. Todd Becker, commander of the 1st Battalion 63rd Armor
Regiment here in Ba’qubah in Iraq.

We have about USD$20 Million (Twenty Million United State Dollars) that we
want to move out of this country (Iraq). My partners and I need a good
partner out there, someone we can trust to receive these funds on our
behalf. It is oil money and legal, there is no room for fear. Please do
not disclose this deal to anybody as to protect my duty with the US army;
we must keep a low profile at all times. More details regarding this deal
will be made available to you as soon as your interest is shown.

I need your urgent response if you are interested in assisting us to
receive the fund because we will be ending our mission in Iraq soon (going
back home) because we have already been pulled out of some major cities
but now in our Military bases or Camps.

We have made arrangement with a Diplomatic Courier Service that will move
the funds out of Iraq as Family Treasures to where you want it and we can
as well use the Bank to Bank transfer method. It all depends on the option
you think is safe for both of us. The most important thing is; “CAN I
TRUST YOU”? Once the funds gets to you.

As soon as the fund gets to you, simply take out 20% as your share and
keep the remaining 80% for investment on our behalf. Your own part of
these deals is to find a place where the funds can be sent to. If you are
interested, I will furnish you with more details upon receipt of your
response. But I can assure you the whole process is simply and we need to
keep this deal as a confidential matter. I do not need lousy or noisy
person please. Website: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/2988455.stm

I look forward to your reply and co-operation. Pls reply me in my private
email 01tbecker@gmail.com

Regards,

Lt. Col. Todd Becker

Beware the Fraudster or Con Artist

This is a warning everytime the economy tanks. And unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you’d know the economy’s been pretty bad lately. That signals the feeding frenzy of the predatory ones coming to a wallet near you – yours. The fraudsters will use almost anything at their means to part you and your cash. They are not above hiring or recruiting legitimate business agents to do their dirty work either. Remember Bernie Madoff?

Con artists have been known to recruit insurance agents lately because they have an established credibility working with clients on financial matters to tap.

That’s more lucrative than the boiler room trolling for victims with cold calls…you know, those pesky and rude callers that bug the hell out of you? And often incredibly rude too. It’s amazing these glibe talkers get away with so much.

Fraudsters Favourite
To most people…the would be investor, the would be victim, the fraudster can make “bonded life settlements” seem like a version of annuity which has been around forever and appear very reliable and safe as an investment for their retirement in these financially turbulent times.

In bonded life settlements, investors buy life insurance policies at a discount from people with a life expectancy of five to seven years. Then they collect the benefits when the policyholder dies. The difference between what investors paid for the policy and the value of the benefits is their return. But there’s another signal that must make you wary of fraudsters coming out of the woodwork soon, if they haven’t already done so. Just look at Wall Street activity. These con artists have a way of copying new investibles coming from large financial houses.

Wall Street firms have begun securitizing bonded life contracts and selling them to investors, much as they did with mortgage-backed securities. Understand then, that some bright money grabbing genius has already figured out the legal way of getting at a very lucrative new business.

With Wall Street jumping in the best rule of thumb these days is to hide your documents. That includes your credit cards, your bank account and your check book. There’s also that history of the latest and greatest coming to a crashing halt some years down the road and you’re left holding the empty (money) bag.

As far as business records go, the pyramidal con or Ponzi Scheme has been plagueing ordinary and sophisticated investors alike who want to make it with fast profits…The Ponzi Scheme Lives Eternal.

So many years past and I still remember my own mother actually getting into such a scheme thingking it was such a fantastic new business opportunity. Who could blame her? A young mother with 3 kids in school, the need for some extra cash is always enticing. Sure, the initial “investments” ran very well, hundreds of dollars became several thousands within a year. Reinvestment became the order every month…

Until one day, in the newspapers some leaders in an investment group were charged and arrested by police for fraud and numerous other criminal counts. Suddenly those thousands became mere paper and broken dreams. Then the following day, news of investors losing millions came to light. Now, in those days, a thousand would keep you in house and food for a year. Imagine the loss perpetrated by these few crooks.

The far east is not like Canada where the laws are far more severe…

These con artists, were really geniuses for what they did, and how they arranged their affairs. In fact, an initial audit did not find anything amiss. How they were brought was political. A minister in the ruling political party got in with millions of dollars then tried to withdraw within less than a year. Of course, with Ponzi Schemes, there wasn’t enough money to cover him. That’s when the walls came crashing down. You can imagine the public outcry and protests of the people who lost money…”Hang ‘em; castrate them; how do we feed our kids…”

Does this all sound familiar? Maybe a more severe deterent sentence like the US in the Bernie Madoff’s perpetrated Ponzi Scheme is appropriate.

Read more about this from Canada, “New Canadian Scandals Highlight Old Scam.”

Hello,

My name is Mrs. Elena Tan.

I am a dying woman who had decided to donate what I have to you. I am 59 years old and was diagnosed for cancer about 2 years ago, immediately after the death of my husband, who had left me everything he worked for. I have been touched by God to donate from what I have inherited from my late husband to you for the good work of God, rather than allowing my relatives to use my husband’s hard earned funds ungodly. I have asked God to forgive me all my sins and i believe he has because He is a merciful God. I will be going in for an operation, and i pray that i survive the operation. I have decided to WILL/donate the sum of $10,500,000.00.(Ten million five hundred thousand dollars) to you for the good work of the lord, and to help the motherless, less privileged and also for the assistance of the widows. At the moment I cannot take any telephone calls, due to the fact that my relatives are around me and i have been restricted by my doctor from taking telephone calls because i deserve all the rest i can get.

Presently,I have informed my lawyer about my decision in WILLING this fund to you. I wish you all the best and may the good Lord bless you abundantly and please use the funds well and always extend the good work to others. Kindly Contact my lawyer through this email address (barr.richardlee@sify.com) or you can call his private Lin:( +855976127307).If you are interested in carrying out this task, so that he can arrange the release of the funds ($10,500,000.00) to you. My lawyer’s name is Barrister Richard Lee. I know I have never met you but my mind tells me to dothis, and i hope you act sincerely. NB:I will appreciate your utmost confidentiality in this matter until the task is complished,as I don’t want anything that will Jeopardize my last wish, due to the fact that i do not want relatives or family members standing in the way of my last wish.

Thank you and God bless you.

My son was asked to consider the possiblity of taking the swine flu as a general announcement. That got me wondering about the power of mass media and the possible scare tactics used versus the actual negative effects of this epidemic warning. The information I found which are now widely available made me wonder if this could be a Swine Flu Vaccine Scam. Remember, this is so far a warning, not yet an occurance.

It got me investigating and what I found all around is very disconcerting. I urge you to make your own assumptions and take the necessary precaution for your own health and that of your loved ones. Despite all the so called health providers encouragement to go for this shot, I feel the dangers are far worse than the bug itself. Judge carefully for yourself.

These epidemic warnings have been going on for years. I remember it more than 30 years ago. And then more recently, SARS – despite it’s truly deadly effects and virulent spreading ability, very simply fizzled out. So, this time, what WHO’s on about? I decided to find out. Many pieces started to fall out about the history of this mass production vaccination – which appear to be capitalistic and fear mongering in nature. So you will see in an article below, with deadly and devastating effects – the cure being far worse than the cure.

BTW, the cure happens to be a coctail of some well recognized neurotoxins like Mercury, Aluminum, among many others. Besides, the so called inert flu bug may not be what it is – no one seems to know what it has become. Oh yes, the adjutant used in this swine flu vaccine has been used and found to have made many soldiers ill.

I’ve decided to reprint this article in its entirety – credits at the bottom.

Swine Flu Vaccine’s Possible Deadly Secrets

The Swine Flu is very definitely getting more panic inducing attention than is usual. The media flames fan the already massive launch of propaganda machines from the WHO (World Health Organization) and the Western Governments. Should I really be so fearful that I must take that SHOT of this Swine Flu Vaccine to save my life or the life of my little loved one?

A little research and that yielded many pros and cons to the issue. Should I: take the shot as a prevention OR run like the blazes and save my life?

Pandemic

Controversy is rife on this issue. At first, the nay sayers of this Swine Flu Pandemic claimed that it is most definitely not as dangerous or massive as was claimed by the WHO which raised the pandemic to a phase 6 (WHO has no definitive answer) – the maximum danger worldwide for any disease – who would question such a powerful world authority right? Then there were conspiracy theories which claimed this virus was man made…Then you get the world wide control issue…But then it hits home that in some jurisdictions, vaccinations can be forced upon children too. Then I noticed the massive worldwide scare propaganda like creating mass graves in England for possible mass deaths from a pandemic…really got me curious.

Squalene will be used as Immune Adjuvants in Swine Flu Vaccines

The U.S. government has contracts with several drug companies to develop and produce swine flu vaccines. At least two of those companies, Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline, are using an adjuvant in their H1N1 vaccines.

The adjuvant? Squalene.

According to Meryl Nass, M.D., an authority on the anthrax vaccine, “A novel feature of the two H1N1 vaccines being developed by companies Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline is the addition of squalene-containing adjuvants to boost immunogenicity and dramatically reduce the amount of viral antigen needed. This translates to much faster production of desired vaccine quantities.”

Novartis’s proprietary squalene adjuvant for their H1N1 vaccine is MF59. Glaxo’s is ASO3. MF59 has yet to be approved by the FDA for use in any U.S. vaccine, despite its history of use in other countries. Per Dr. Nass,”… there are only three vaccines in existence using an approved squalene adjuvant. None of the three are approved for use in the U.S.”

According to Dr. Viera Scheibner, Ph.D., a former principle research scientist for the government of Australia:

“… this adjuvant [squalene] contributed to the cascade of reactions called “Gulf War Syndrome,” documented in the soldiers involved in the Gulf War.

The symptoms they developed included arthritis, fibromyalgia, lymphadenopathy, rashes, photosensitive rashes, malar rashes, chronic fatigue, chronic headaches, abnormal body hair loss, non-healing skin lesions, aphthous ulcers, dizziness, weakness, memory loss, seizures, mood changes, neuropsychiatric problems, anti-thyroid effects, anaemia, elevated ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate), systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), Raynaud’s phenomenon, Sjorgren’s syndrome, chronic diarrhoea, night sweats and low-grade fevers.”

This is an important article from Mercola.com.

Home Grown Protests

“WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT!”

The Vaccine Resistance Movement in Canada is pleased to announce a Nationwide Informational Demonstration and Political Protest in Canada, Friday August 28th, 29th and 30th, 2009.

We need EVERYBODY who shares our concerns to get involved, to inform others about H1N1 and vaccines, to speak out, and to protest the vaccine agenda. We need good people in every city and town to take part and begin to give our governments, various health agencies, the WHO, as well as Big Pharma, a loud and clear message. Read More…

Why would otherwise normal peaceful people almost get up in arms and make such concerted efforts to protest this government run program of mass vaccinations. One would assume they are well informed and know something we all don’t. Also, can the Canadian Government tell us all why we would need a “Swine Flu Czar”? This person will be given more power than the chief health officer won’t he or she? WHY? That really scares me that another entity needs to be created to oversee this issue. Afterall, the chief health officer did at one time make comments that this pandemic didn’t appear to be that dangerous…

Is History repeating itself with this Swine Flu?

The Swine Flu Vaccine of 1976 was supposed to save your health, but instead it severely hurt thousands of people (including 25 deaths) through a mass vaccination program in the US through an equally massive propaganda promoting the vaccine. $1.3 billion in claims were filed. Watch these 2 60 minutes video from 1979. Please note: originally, this was a You Tube video which was very hurriedly brought down “due to terms of use violation” – no other explanation.

The above videos made for an extremely eerie parallel to what’s going on for the current Swine Flu Campaign.

Vaccination Scam perpetrated With WHO and Baxter?

Journalist Files Charges against WHO and UN for Bioterrorism and Intent to Commit Mass Murder
Evidence as to the role of Baxter and WHO in producing and releasing pandemic virus material in Austria includes a statement from a Baxter official stating the accidentally distributed H5N1 in the Czech Republic was received from a WHO reference center. This includes delineation of evidence and allegations from Burgermeister’s charges filed in April in Austria that are currently under investigation.

Militarization of Swine Flu Preparations

Republican Representative Paul Broun of Georgia warned a town hall meeting that a “socialistic elite” may be preparing to declare martial law in the United States using a pandemic disease as the pretext. “They’re trying to develop an environment where they can take over…
In another alarming development this week, National Guard troops are involved in a drill to take over a high school in Maine to deal with potential riots and panic over distribution of treatment for the H1N1 virus, the Maine Sun Journal reported…read more.

THE H1N1 SWINE FLU PANDEMIC. SELECTED ARTICLES, NEWS REPORTS, ANALYSIS AND VIDEOS

Global Research Editor’s Note:

We bring to the attention of our readers a collection of in-depth reports and articles on the H1N1 Flu Pandemic, published by Global Research since the outbreak of the crisis in Mexico in April.

“The U.S. expects to have 160 million doses of swine flu vaccine available sometime in October”, (Associated Press, 23 July 2009)

“Vaccine makers could produce 4.9 billion pandemic flu shots per year in the best-case scenario”, Margaret Chan, Director-General, World Health Organization (WHO), quoted by Reuters, 21 July 2009)

Wealthier countries such as the U.S. and Britain will pay just under $10 per dose [of the H1N1 flu vaccine]. … Developing countries will pay a lower price.” [circa $400 billion for Big Pharma] (Business Week, July 2009)

The Worldwide H1N1 swine flu pandemic serves to mislead public opinion.

The 2009 pandemic, which started in Mexico in April, is timely: it coincides with a deepening economic depression. It takes place at a time of military escalation.

The WHO plans to vaccinate more than half the World’s population.

Open Invitation To Truth

I am for open dialogue on this most important of matters – the lives and well being of many people. Now, in researching this article a number of facts stood out about this Swine Flu Pandemic issue:

* The information by worldwide media appears to be very much along the very same story line. Every report appears to relate to one another like a domino game. Because of that, even the prior reports on this site were similar to them…it’s a repeated pattern.

* I have yet to see a properly documented release of the Swine Flu victim numbers/cases, their spread or how they were documented around the globe. Are all the cases of “Swine Flu” really the real McCoy or simply a misdiagnosis mixed in with other types of flu?

* There were many experts on the ground and other medical professionals who asked many questions and voiced their concerns about the WHO’s quick response to raising the level of this Swine Flu to a level 6 – they have been largely been met with static and more press releases.

* Many apparently well informed people are voicing their discontent but are yet to have answers to those concerns about the health issues.

* The severe known health dangers of this fast tracked virus (the added adjuvants and the virus itself). The vaccinces have not gone through any testing and the manufacturers are made immune to any prosecution.

* The speed in which governments have implemented this mass vaccination process despite the evidence that most people do get it and then recover quickly and safely.

* Military action and forced vaccinations???

“I invite members from both camps of the argument to comment.”

To tell you the truth, much TRUTH IS BURIED about this issue.

Frankly, the lack of clarity scares me. But what I do see happening frightens me. If there is only silence to the questions being asked, then I fear for the worst.

What we all need is absolute clarity to make informed choices, and not be forced by our supposed democracy…

I had to use Penis Enlargement Scam as the title only because other alternatives don’t get attention…

These Penis Enlargement Pills Are Sold In Amazon!

But at least you can find this male appendage in the dictionaries and encyclopaedias. So, that’s out of the way and I’m sure just about every red blooded male and female know about this…right? NOT!

I am thoroughly surprised when I surveyed some friends and also people during a business party and a surprising 5% have ever seen it on the web. So, here I am wirting the words “Penis Enlargement” in the hope that more people can be educated why it is such a scam.

Of those who knew of these sites, they are split evenly in their opinions if the pills being promoted are effective. Imagine that! I’ll try to put that to rest here.

But what’s surprising is that they are still so popular that even Amazon sells them. And that kind of credibility lends itself to fuel a ton of really bad and fake pills out there. There are so many penile erectile dysfunction cures via pills coming through e-mails as spam it’s a wonder that they make it into e-mail bozes at all. What price your health?

The Penis Enlargement pills are a SCAM! And I’ll tell you why…

Modern medical science and also the ancient doctors demonstrate it is impossible to enlarge the existing gifts you already have with pills alone. Think of your appendage as a balloon that engorges it self with blood when erect. The balloon can only stretch to a certain extent. Beyond that, it will break – and that sounds like a very painful experience worthy of a groin covering cringe…unless you have some physical way of allowing your appendage to get bigger.

In the past, as today, the focus of real doctors is to encourage the condition in which the penis can display its full glory through blood flow. Herbs and drugs have been used. One way is through that Viagra…enough said! The other is through exercise and great nutrition for virility. Physical fitness can often turn the slightly flacid and not as impressive erectness to its fullest extension. The difference can be signiificant – in significant I mean perhaps 2-3 inches. I’m sure we’ve all experienced the times in our lives when illness has restricted our bedroom performance and desire?

Well, yes, that desire part. Some truly devout monks can’t. It’s like they’ve turned that switch off. Similarly, is that switch fully in the ON position for you? It makes a difference doesn’t it? Ask your wife or girl friend…

Doctors also mention weight loss – about 30 lbs of body weight loss can equal an inch of penile length. Overweight people tend to have that much hidden behind some of their folds in the groin. But perhaps, its also because being in better physical shape simply means your personal device can extend itself deeper when asked to perform.

So, then do these pills enlarge your penis? Only if they allow your normally flacid thingy to get up there and wave the flag for you. Read what WebMd has to say.

Physical Penis Enlargement

I might as well tell you about it through my research on the matter. You can enlarge your little willy to become your version of the Italian Stallion. But by how much is open to debate and fraught with disasters. The pictures are just way too grotesque to publish here. Anyway, no porn allowed here.

Also, all the physical manipulations involve pain and sometimes disaster. Is it worth the possiblity of having the BIG ONE like you find in porn flicks?

- There are some pundits for a natural and painful daily stretching of your private appendage several times a day. How about rolling your member over a pipe and holding it there until tears come? Weights with attachments have also been used as a stretcher, not a lifter. Hopefully you can still pee…

- Then there is that suction machine with cups and all – sort of like a milking machine with a different appendage. Hopefully you do not mistakenly try the one that is made for milking cows on for size – might be the biggest mistake of your life.

- Surgery is becoming more common but it is still a very expensive exterprise ($20k?) and potentially disatrous too. So you want 2 inches more? Perhaps 4″? Then how about that locker room low hanging honker? There are a variety of procedures. Some as simple as cutting off some ligaments between your legs and stretching your member out. Then you could go as far as to implant rods and pumps. But you risk complications and horrrible scarring or even a total failure of your member.

- Notice, NO PILLS!!!

What Are Your Top 10 Credit Card Scams? These scams are real ripoffs.

Well, you may not have all 10, but here are mine…I’ve been had by all these schemers…and it’s got nothing to do with being naive. You may want to go check your credit statements, credit bureaus, law enforcement and those people closest to Your Money!!!

Let’s begin:

1) Finding you have more credit cards than you realized and the applicant was someone from your address!

13 years ago I had knew I had 4 very important credit cards which I used regularly – mostly for business. But one day, I had strange calls from a bunch of collection agencies because I was home from a business trip. And there were documents showing I was an R9 on 9 credit cards!!! Huh??? All maxed out and I didn’t know? How come there wasn’t even a single credit check on those cards during application?

Start finding the source of the problems very close to home. The one that’s closest to your money and credit information. Divorce proceedings were also promptly slapped on my face a few weeks later. Guess who the culprit was.

2) Banks’ own “Collections” reinstated paid off debts.

Never trust a bank when it comes to money. The above credit cards debts, some of which were paid off by negotiating a lower value because of excessively high interest rates. After being “paid in full” on their records, 2 large banks decided to “reinstate” the debts 2 years later without telling me. They only notified the credit bureau about 4 years after the debts had been fully paid!!! They knew that was the time I was searching for a mortgage and would pay up or be tied in court for at least another several years. In fact, it required a bank officer from another bank to intercede the payments as these 2 banks were insisting on holding on to the debts despite my trying to “settle” in full. This time, ’my’ bank officer acted as a notary, ensuring these jerks can’t pull off that fast one again. It still cost me another $6,700!

3) Double billing your credit card and charging interestand fees for it.

You may have heard of this one. They invariably choose a credit card that’s at or near the borrowing limit. Then one day you find you have some ‘errors’ in your statement. You’re not sure, but you did withdraw via ATM some cash. You find one receipt but they insisted 2 times. You find the customer service if really a broken record with a human body who is trained to get you mad so that they can just hang up.

When you are at that stage of borrowing, you pay higher interest, you pay over limit fees, and perhaps an overcharge fee for extra credit. And if you withhold payment, they get you for withholding legitimate dues and then destroy your credit rating. So, you pay while you spend over a hundred hours trying to get the right person to sort that out. If you’re lucky and the ombudsman listens to your story, you get a full refund, without any apologies, nor interest due! I did that 6 times already some years ago.

The credit card company at last said this was a rare mistake. But by rare did they mean 20% or more of their customers get that royal treatment?

4) Foreign Airport Bait and Switch.

BEWARE! You could spend some time in jail for this! You buy something or pay for a meal or even a duty free store at the departure…you’re leaving. Then inexplicably, you’re being manhandled by cops with batons and guns. Battered and bruised in jail, you hear that you have used a fake credit card and was shop lifting. Now, they get you as you are leaving because no one is likely looking for you from that country – you’re leaving right? They (cops) will try to extort money transfers from you – as much as they can muster – and share it amongst themselves. By then you may have been in jail for a week or more. And to rub salt into the wound, you are blacklisted and ordered out of the country for fraud/theft. Think this can’t happen? A cousin and an uncle suffered this fate – one in Thailand, the other in Indonesia. They know how to pick their victims. Lately, there have been hundreds of such complaints – even from North Americans who have been there.

5) The number reversal.

I paid for a bicycle costing $149.00 with a credit card. The next month, the bill came to $194.00! I happened to check the receipts and credit card copy (usually lost right?). True enough, I was right and called the bike store at once to correct the error. But their records showed $194.00! I pursued the matter with the credit card company (thankfully this agent was very sharp), which asked for the original bill of the credit card. It was altered. So, someone was trying to make off with a $45.00 tip.

6) Credit Card Convenience Checks are NOT!

Never use them if at all possible! First of all, they can negatively impact your credit rating. At the very least, it takes you down a good number of valuable points. Second, these are deceptively insidious…look at the terms and conditions carefully…they usually add 2-3% on top of your borrowed amount or even your current oustanding balance, and you are lured into it with a very low interest rate of perhaps 5% or less! That’s a trap! You could be paying a total interest rate of up to 41%! Thirdly, did I mention your credit rating takes a hit? So anything you borrow after carries a much higher interest rate. Fourth, did you know that after the grace period offered, you pay the full “NEW” rate – e.g. you paid 10.5% on your old card, the new convenience rate was 5%. They both can expire and you could pay 19% or more!!! So, don’t fall for “convenience” without finding out more about it.

7) Allowing fake billing.

Some very aggressive credit card companies will allow automatic annual billing, even after you have cancelled the subscription – are that few extra dollars of charged interest worth the customers’ anger? Other credit card companies are more careful here and confirm with the customer before allowing such annual renewals. Too often, false billing is allowed. Many annual subscriptions are fake and the unscrupilous companies and individuals try to take advantage of this fact – who can remember them anyway after a year or two of not wanting to have anything to do with them? Be vigilant!

8) Charged for overpayment.

This is one for the ombudsman – never the courts if you can help it. I once had the habbit of overpaying my very active credit card a few years ago – simply because I knew I would be using the card directly after the current statement. Also, I often did this to “raise the credit spending limit” by topping up and overpaying - as suggested by a bank officer as I often travelled (one runs out of credit pretty fast overseas). Then, after a couple of years, I did an audit on my credit card charges…I simply called the ombudsman to lodge a complaint. That creditd card company was charging me a processing fee each time I overpaid – even if it was only a few dollars, I was on the hook for $25 minimum or 3%, whichever is higher. Then, on top of that, I was charged a processing fee under “extra service”. Extra service for what? I did get a refund for most of the charges from the bank. And my credit card was changed to another version which they assured me was “different” and catered to travellers…yeah right. Records of the previous card version was changed to the new one therefore older records are no longer tracked. How convenient for the bank’s “oversights”.

9) Prepaid Credit Cards rates are through the roof!

OK, you need to purchase that new dress or perhaps need it to get into a new nightclub. So you buy a $200.00 prepaid from a department store costing an extra $20 in fees. So far, so good. You use $100.00 over the weekend and keep the balance for later – perhaps some school books? You’re being responsible right? A few months later you find that the credit card had expired at the bookstore checkout! On the back in almost microprint the store clerk pointed out your card expired in 60 days after purchase with no refunds. No big deal? Yes, it is a huge deal. You see, if you had used it to the full, the rate would have been 60% per annum!!! But as it was, you paid 220% simply because it expired on you in 2 months (adding the $100 lost as a charge). So, if you use one of these prepaid debit cards – store version or credit card names, the same issues apply. Be EXTREMELY careful of the fine print! The example given happened to a student I knew.

10) Internet Spying On Credit Card Transactions.

So you make a purchase online through a “https” designated site. All is encrypted and secure right? That’s total bull s*** You see, if you use any kind of through air transmission, if someone with the right software is scanning on a wireless transmission is quite able to find your internet link and actually “SEE” and record your transactions, your pass codes, your internet logins , and this includes your credit card numbers and personal data. But let me qualify this… hard wired lines are a little more secure in this case. But not totally secure! The same thing can happen if these sophisticated crooks find your internet link – your computer IP. The most common use of such data is simply getting your money but the more sophisticated will use your credit information and get loans, buy homes or even vehicles and all manner of luxury travel. Imagine finding out one day that you’ve been declared a bankrupt without ever knowing about it until it is too late.

If you think this is not possible, remember that police, the internet service provider and other agencies routinely tap and spy on your use of the internet. The crooks are often even more sophisticated than these guys put together.

In some of my e-mails, I get these scamming spams regularly. Many security experts – really just people like you and I but they’ve had alot more thrown at them – advise marking them as spam and simply do not open them. But, some of them you will not be sure until you do take a look.

Of course if you realize what they are, it could be almost funny and some are totally hilarious unless you happened to have become a victim.

Take a look – reproduced in full.
